Fulfilling a Promise
We had a fairly standard morning, with Bud getting up and being good about getting ready, and Buster sleeping in a bit. In fact, Buster was still asleep when I left with Bud to get him to school at about 8:15. It wasn't quite as cold today, but still pretty chilly.I got home around 6:00, and apologized to Nanny J for being a bit later. Bud got started on his homework, and M-lady arrived a short time later. After wrapping up homework, Bud did his piano practice, and the kids then played Lego Star Wars while M-lady and I prepared and ate our dinner.
We waited on the kids while they ate next. After eating, Bud ran upstairs to take a shower, since they'd had TKD today and he hadn't yet bathed. That brought us straight to snack time. After snack time, Bud and I played the old Republic Heros Xbox game, as I'd promised to play with him the day before. That counted as our bedtime activity, and we headed upstairs a few minutes before 8:30 to get him tucked in.
